What We Do
Every person in Kibra deserves safety, justice, and a voice. Our four programme pillars address the full spectrum of human rights — from emergency legal aid to long-term civic empowerment.
🤝 PILLAR 01
Immediate human support — legal aid, psychosocial care, food security, and refugee inclusion programmes for communities in crisis.
📢 PILLAR 02
Systemic change through civic education, elections monitoring, interreligious dialogue, land rights mobilisation, and constitutional literacy.
🔬 PILLAR 03
Evidence-based change through applied research on statelessness, digital identity systems, and extrajudicial executions that informs national policy.
⚡ PILLAR 04
Creative, non-traditional approaches to peacebuilding using sports, technology, and culture to reach at-risk youth.
Cases Documented
Since 2020, K-HAKI has documented over 150 cases of police brutality, enforced disappearances, and extrajudicial killings in Kibra and Dagoretti. Our trained paralegals respond within hours, securing evidence and connecting families to justice pathways that would otherwise be impossible to navigate alone.
